ABOUT
I'm Matt, a 3D artist and animation director living just outside London, working under the name Design Lad. I love creating playful, colourful characters and bringing ideas to life with a bit of humour and personality.
Before moving into 3D, I worked as a graphic designer, creating work for brands including the BBC, Levi's and Red Bull. In 2016, I decided to take a different creative direction and explore the world of 3D, which gave me a whole new way to express my ideas and develop my own style.
Since then, I've been lucky enough to work with some amazing clients, including Nike, Adidas, Coca-Cola, Arsenal and the NFL. Whether it's a single image or a fully animated campaign, I always aim to create work that's full of character, makes people smile and hopefully sticks in their minds.
